Sure this is Twitter, but nonetheless, a highly reductive view of diverse religious attempts to tackle the human condition, almost all of which acknowledge our multifacetedness. And, sorry, but very awkwardly illustrated by an example of French Orientalism in art.

I mean, a man with a hookah is not a great representation of Islamic asceticism on earth. And it's not as if Islam does not have a place for earthly sexuality. Nor is celibacy itself about hiding our nature; asceticism has various justifications, but is often practiced joyously.
