The fact that they chose to lie about where it was taken, for a start.

That’s no evidence whatsoever that it was staged or that the family was coerced to tell a lie. There is, however, a lot of evidence showing rebels staging attacks besides witnesses, including videos.

Hmm, I wouldn't go so far as to describe Fisk's account as evidence. The fact is, there is not yet hard evidence either way. Meanwhile, I'm inclined to believe, based on Putin/Assad's history, that they are likely being the most dishonest here.

Really? You believe al-Qaeda and Isis affiliated groups more? I also attached a video link of an independent journalist reporting in the areahttps://youtu.be/lKiiKtEcx9Q

Again, there's nothing distinguishing this from disinformation. I've never heard of this journo; she could be an Assad stooge. And, I understand why you're sceptical of believing of the West's claims; if you see my old tweet here, I share your concerns:https://twitter.com/G_S_Bhogal/status/984006143314923521 …
Gurindoor added,
Gurindoor @G_S_BhogalI'm still not certain that Assad was behind the chemical attack in Syria. He's certainly capable of it, but so are Jaysh al-Islam, the US-backed jihadi group that carried out a chemical attack in Sheikh Maqsood (but which went under the news radar). More investigation needed.Show this thread1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

But right now, even Trump - who has all the reason in the world to go against the common narrative - believes Assad was behind the attack. And Assad has shown a willingness to gas his own people in the past, and to lie about it, so it's not extraordinary for him to do it again.

Above all, what has made me most suspicious is the activity of Russian bots that have swarmed YouTube and Twitter since the gas attack, and Russia being caught out lying about the location of that video Syrian boy vid. If they had nothing to hide, why such devious tactics?

Russian bots? The UK falsely accused Syrian girl of being one using fake information. They can’t be trusted. Russia might have lied on the location of the video which means nothing. The reporter in that clip clearly shows WH are embedded with AQ and Isis, and she’s from Bolivia.

I don't think she's shown that at all. She points to the fact that white helmet graffiti exists alongside AQ graffiti on a wall. Really? That's evidence? Anyone can do graffiti. I'm not certain Assad carried out the attack You shouldn't be so certain he didn't.

There are WH jackets on the floor, headquaeters a few minutes away from al-Nusra, testimonies of locals saying they didn’t treat civilians, what else do you need? Truth, it doesn’t matter what evidence is presented.

*All* of that can be easily fabricated. WH jackets can be stolen, you said yourself location is no indication of anything, testimonies can lie.... There is not yet enough conclusive data to have such certainty.
