I'd suggest a modification. The hypothesis has merit to a point. But I'd think likes (% of views) may start dropping as #'s grow. I'm less likely to 'like' when thousands already have.

Yes, there would need to be a cut-off point, otherwise a tweet's likes would grow exponentially forever.
