Plus, it's just too yum, and I'm a bad person. Good thing is, lab-grown meat will soon be a thing. And when we've gotten used to that, I think we'll look back at eating animals the way we currently look back at the Slave Trade, and shudder at how fucked up we were.

You're making a logical error here known as the fallacy of relative privation. By this logic, we would only be doing the right thing if we were only ever talking about the absolute worst thing in the world and nothing else.
