What do you do? Not to be weird, I know you write but what is your field? What did you study to gain such a measured perspective? Again sorry if this is weird but you seem so... idk almost everything you say resonates with me and I feel like much of that is just the surface.

We do this with lots of thibgs. Even in just our own lives, one might have more memories from a particular month than from another span of years. The human brain is born to place things in categories and they aren't always sorted in the most logical way. Time is tricky.
