coattail article is desperately seeking attention. Let him actually get there first before applying the Postmoderism.

You should read the article before critiquing it. It's not a coattail article but a measured examination of the almost religious persona that has built around Peterson. It is crucial that we're allowed to have open debate about such things without being dismissed as jealous etc.

I agree with that premise. Assuming I didn't read it because I formulated a dissenting opinion on it is a fault you made. I stand by my assessment. this article is formed on an good premise but ends up being nothing but a coattail riding, slightly masturbatory, Pop-art piece.

Without any justification for that opinion, it's nothing more than an insult.

I'm not required to justify an assessment. If it is received\interpreted as in insult, that is on the recipient. Did it hit close enough to home to make you upset? hmm, maybe I'm on to something.

It's fine to express an opinion without justifying it, but you can't expect a discussion based on it. It's like if I said, "I hate Tuesdays", but gave no reason for it. You'd wonder why I was telling you this.

You posted an article because you found it of merit. I read it, and found little to none. I said as much. A dissenting opinion. your reflex to take disagreement as insult is really what we are on about here.

You should know by now that I have no problem with dissent. But if you accuse someone of seeking fame but refuse to offer any justification for this view, it comes across as needlessly belligerent. I'm just letting you know. What you do with that information is entirely up to you
