I don't see how someone can coherently hold these two views (yet ppl seem to): (1) When women are mocked/insulted online: a bad thing was done to them (2) When men are mocked/insulted online: "nothing bad" was done to them, it's not like they were fired, it's only words online

I think by "bad" what is meant is "undeserved". Abuse of Aziz is not considered bad because he is the villain, so therefore what happens to him is "deserved". Ingenues, OTOH, fit the damsel-in-distress role, and thus any abuse they receive is considered undeserved, thus bad.

Basically, the Karpman Drama Triangle dictates what is "bad".

In the left's current drama triangle, men and white people are the oppressors, so attacks against them are "justified" as equalising operations. Meanwhile, attacks against the drama triangle's "victims" (women, minorities) "further inequality" and are thus "undeserved", and bad.
