Essentially the same as my problem with equal outcomes, but at a younger age. Forcing everyone to have the same opportunities at a young age would reduce the freedom of people to choose other opportunities that aren't provided to everyone & it would result in inefficiencies
Interesting. So your theories are based on the idea that educational opportunity is zero sum, and should therefore be limited? But wouldn't that reduce overall opportunity more than if we focused on improving the accessibility of education in general?

Huh? Not sure what you mean here. I don't think that educational opportunities should be limited, it's just that I don't think inequalities matter as much as improvement poor people. Like, if, while helping poor people, rich people get richer, then that doesn't matter.

It seems you're saying that education is a limited resource, and offering an equal amount to everyone reduces it for everyone. That may be true with regard to public/private schooling, but my argument is, must education be zero sum? Perhaps we could improve its efficiency?
