The surest sign that someone doesn’t understand jihadism is that they say “it’s about religion, not grievances”, or “it’s about grievances, not religion”. No, you fools. It’s about many interconnected things. Humans are not simple enough to be motivated by just one thing.

When I get called both a misogynist and a radfem for the exact same opinion I find it more validating than frustrating - if you're pissing off both extremes I'd argue that's evidence you're doing something right and you should proudly continue to do so.
