There are plenty of people who criticize Islam publicly, and live very comfortable lives. Sam Harris, Rita Panahi, Imam Tawhidi, Bill Maher, Brendan O'Neill, Tommy Robinson, etc. I sometimes criticize it myself, and I live in a largely Muslim area. Times have changed.
I'm not anonymous, I live in a hotbed of Islamist activity, brushing shoulders with known extremists, and I've publicly criticized Muhammad and Allah in tweets and articles that have been seen by tens of thousands of people. So, go ahead, feel free to criticize Islam.

Yes, thanks for that :). FWIW, I think you're both right. The world is slowly recovering from the Rushdie fatwa and Motoons madness. Satanic Vs is available in any bookshop. But I've been anon for 12 years and likely to remain so. There's a way to go yet.
