I can think of one ideology that cannot be criticised.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali spends her days criticizing Islam. She's still alive. And you didn't say that we were only talking about public figures. You simply said it wasn't possible to publicly criticize Islam, which I just did.

Read my second tweet in this thread again. Ali is still alive - despite fleeing Europe and because of her personal security detail. As opposed to say, Theo van Gogh who is very much dead because he criticised Islam. So, if that's your definition of 'comfortable'...

Clearly, there are some nutters out there. Just as there are people like Thomas Mair, who murdered Jo Cox because of her support for multiculturalism. The thing is, these people are exceptions. Islam is criticized by countless people in the West every day, without reprisal.
