Oh dear. You don't appear to know what emergence is. So I'll tell you. An emergent property of X is one that is greater than the sum of the properties of X's components.

The path to the nuclear bomb was a twisty one: most of the discoveries that led to the bomb, from Rutherford to Einstein, were accidents resulting from completely different aims. This is 1 way a hostile AI could develop -- a series of side effects resulting from other intentions.

I know what emergence is. I also know what sophistry is. It's absurd to claim that the nuclear bomb "emerged", regardless of how fortuitous the preceding discoveries were. You have yet to explain how feelings could "emerge" in an AI & you appear to be making a weaker claim now.
