I'm not saying the trade-off is good, just that it exists. Attractive women get more harassment, but unattractive women get treated badly by society in general.

Except, the advantage is more pronounced in women than men:http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/attractive-people-particularly-women-more-likely-to-get-a-job-than-the-unattractive-says-study-8809987.html …

Yes, being good looking is an advantage, one I had no hand in. But you're assuming, wrongly that ALL women aren't sexually harassed.
-
I never said that. I said attractive women receive disproportionate sexual harassment.

The Internet is filled with studies that corroborate the findings, such as this one:http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/attractive-people-particularly-women-more-likely-to-get-a-job-than-the-unattractive-says-study-8809987.html …

Mister Ghoul, I am just going to say this is faulty because you are assuming the cause of sexual harassment is aesthetics, when it is....
-
more often due to power or control. Aesthetics isn't really a factor.

A trade off? Really? I think it's that guys feel free to access a woman's body, and also free to choose which bodies they like the best
-
"Trade off" was a bad choice of words. What I meant is that if I had a choice between being an unattractive woman and being treated badly by society at large, or being an attractive woman and being often sexually harassed but treated much better by society, I'd choose the latter.

That’s assuming attractive women welcome this kind of disproportionate affection. I can assure you, that is not a universally +ve trade off
-
It's not just affection, but better life chances in a range of different ways.
