Tbh, I think the forces of suppression are a tiny and ineffectual minority, as evidenced by the universal condemnation of Weinstein and the runaway success of the #MeToo
campaign.
I'll admit I don't agree fully with it, but I do think there is a danger that we might create a culture of victimhood, in which people are encouraged to see themselves first and foremost as victims, causing them to inflate their grievances for inclusion, affection and popularity.
