I'm referring to the left's obsession with blaming everything on white people, and white men in particular. It's essentially an atheistic original sin. That scapegoating has certainly played a part in the polarization and piling on you speak of.

1/3 I maintain that piling is internet (and playground), rather than left or right phenomenon

2/3 Bearing that in mind, how much white-man-bashing actually goes on, as a proportion of all-ethnicity bashing?

The only acceptable form of racism is racism against white people. It's the only form of racism you see in the biggest platform of all: mainstream media.

Have not seen that in MSM. Again, allowing for the fact my interactions with MSM probably skewed centre-left. Do you have examples?

Err. Factual. No inflammatory language used. Hardly constitutes discrimination or targeted abuse

2/2 Are you suggesting we whitewash uncomfortable truths for sake of community cohesion?

No, I love facts. But since you're claiming white people are the source of gun crime, how about this: in the US, black gun crime is about ten times worse than white gun crime. But you won't find many articles about that in the MSM.

Reluctant to speculate with no access to data, but is x10 figure proportionate to income by any chance? Because that's an economic issue

No, it's not fully explained by economics. Poor white people do not commit crimes at the same rate as poor black people. Here, read this: https://www.channel4.com/news/factcheck/factcheck-black-americans-commit-crime …
