They must think their boycott will harm Twitter, but they simply won't be able to gather the numbers necessary for Twitter to even notice. So, this is nothing more than an act of self-censorship to protest censorship - like Buddhists protesting violence by self-immolating.

Different people, though. I don't want women to be silent. I would *never* criticize any woman for speaking up about something they feel strongly. I might argue with them. But I'd never criticize their right to speak.
