It's tempting, arguing with folks who'll never see your POV about something you care deeply about, but it's not worth doing it on Twitter; the word limits only frustrate, and the impersonality only encourages disrespect. I think another Twitter break would do you some good, D.

I think your passion & energy would be better spent writing articles that methodically make your arguments and are seen by lots of people, rather than on a trivial Twitter exchange that's only going to make you feel like crap and be read by a handful of people.
