True, but time is finite, so it makes sense to prioritize our attention on the greatest/most tractable injustices.

Trouble is modern slavery happens 'elsewhere', 4 the most part. Local historical grievances, while more distant in time, are closer to home.

Thing is. lefties are supposed to be internationalists, and in a digitized, globalized world, geographic borders should be no obstacle to compassion & attention.

The crimes of 300 years ago are still very much alive today. Inequality and abuse because of skin colour didn't end with Civil Rights Act.
