I'll never understand why people have a problem with shooting wild animals for their meat in Africa, yet are perfectly okay with eating animals that were imprisoned in claustrophobic cages, relentlessly pumped with hormones, knee-deep in their own excrement, their fur falling out
In any case, from a purely ethical POV, eating animals is wrong because it's not necessary to our survival. What's more, torturing an animal by keeping it in horrendous conditions doesn't become more acceptable if there are many of them.

My grandparents had a farm in France in the tiny village I come from. All animals were free to roam & happy animals make delicious meat.

My granddad had a farm in Nairobi. He used to kill deer and then pull out their hearts and eat them raw!
