In fact, often intractable to do so in reality.

Coarse-graining is a flashy analogy, but a false one. We're talking about people, not atoms. And people are naturally tribalist, and need to be prevented from becoming too tribal so they don't slaughter each other. Intersectionality entrenches racial divisions - and prejudices.

Not at all false. Predicting means you can scale the level of precision with which you specify detail. Often counterproductive 2 overspecify

That's only one thing tribalism is. It comes with side effects, like encouraging interracial-conflict narratives. It is more efficient and less dangerous to pursue policies against prejudice in general than against specific tribes, because all prejudice has a common source.

The assertion that the left created racism by talking about it is the less parsimonious option, and requires the greater proof.

I never said the left created racism.

But it would go away if the left stopped pointing it out?

Nope, never said that.

What you characterize as "encouraging interracial conflict" narratives, I characterize as "pointing out that racism exists"

But that's not what I mean. By "encouraging racial conflict" I mean "encouraging racial conflict".

Do they encourage it? Or just make it seem worse by making it harder to ignore?

Both. But the net result of dividing people by race, and treating said groups differently, is indignation, stereotyping, othering, competitive victimisation, hyperpolarisation and ideological escalation.
