A correlation is a general pattern, not a perfect relationship. What we know is that tightening gun laws will reduce mass-shootings at a macro scale. This is a fact that you can't dispute.

For one, there should at least be a ban on semi-automatic weapons, as these were not around when the 2nd amend was written. As for your second point, I'll say it again, exceptions do not disprove a correlation.
