If you are going to argue that it always comes down to technology, then I’m not sure what happened in Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan.

The point isn't that the US Government is hostile currently it's in case it ever does & you underestimate what 100m + armed people can do

It'll never be obsolete. I'll point you to Catalonia for an example. 2nd,US Gov. is hostile to about half of its citizens at any given time

If citizens used guns in Catalonia, it would have just escalated the violence, and the citizens would have lost. Plus, in the US, separation of powers means that the govt could not form a united front against its citizens (if it could, guns wouldn't help the citizens).

Prepper Paradox. In armed revolution, it's your neighbors who will be the immediate danger. Trust in gov to help, in time, like Vegas?
