Divisive posts like these are occasionally necessary to purge oneself of intolerant and hyper-partisan followers. The aftermath of such tweets is the only time I enjoy seeing my follower count decrease.

I'd say that suspicion of Jews is quite widespread, but outright hatred of them is probably much rarer.

In Luton, for instance, it's not uncommon to hear someone say stuff like "You're worse than a Jew!" But, at the same time, no Jewish shops or synagogues have been attacked here as far as I know (at least while I've been here).

Thanks! Just to be clear, I think criticism of Israel is often deliberately confused with antisemitism, and find this detestable.

I'm not in favour of equality of outcome. Just equality of opportunity, which I feel we are close to but not quite at yet. I think a universal basic income could be the key.
