Putting cheddar cheese on pizzas should be an offense under the Terrorism Act 2000. It's a huge problem in Luton; vendors see no difference between moderate cheeses like mozzarella and extremist cheeses like cheddar. The result? Luton's pizzas taste like old socks. Just no.

Wouldnt call eating cheddar cheese a painful experience mate. Maybe if you dipped your balls in the molten cheese and they burn your mouth?

Tbh, I actually like cheddar. The thing is, pizzas tend to have delicate flavours from the tomato, basil, etc, and cheddar just overpowers it all, especially with the amount that the vendors round here put on.
