Antifa gain no legitimacy by fighting Nazis, for they are detrimental to the fight. Their violence doesn't deter Nazis, but emboldens them.

Censoring/demonizing those for "wrongthink" plays into the alt-right narrative. The shadows we cast nurture monsters.

But they FABRICATE their narrative--when their opponents DON'T stoop to violence like them, THEY MAKE IT UP. So that's really a non-sequitur

They're non-thinkers because no one ever tried to make them think. We beat Nazis in WW2, but never confronted them in the arena of debate.

The alt-right is backlash against NONVIOLENTLY stifling right-wing ideas. Bcuz they had no consequences to fear, they felt free to lash out.
-
Nonviolent, perhaps. But also authoritarian. We can't beat a backlash against authoritarianism by being authoritarian.
