If girls won't enter STEM due to misogyny, don't mollycoddle them by cutting free speech. Instead, teach girls to give as good as they get.

Your presumption is mistaken. Bigotry in the workplace is not simply a bad idea. There is an accepted concept of 'hostile environment.'
