Rumours are not good enough, I am afraid, and neither are 'guessitmates'. It seems that the 30+ years of FGM work in NHS & society paid off.

The increase in numbers is largely due to older women screened ante-natally. That is where these large increases are coming from.

It's still a foggy topic. Neither of us know the full extent of the problem. But I think we can agree police should be more vigilant re FGM.
