I did not even knew he had this defense of religion it is very good to know. I will look into it to understand better his points. I mostly defend religion by using Peterson's and I have to read Eliade as Peterson suggested too.

No. You only discuss religious traditions, not religion. Religion & atheism =definition? They are not precise notions like we see in physics. He disagrees with Dawkins & others = the way they see religion is deeply reductionist. That’s also why those studies are not relevant.
