I wrote about the central role that religious ritual has played in the global spread of coronavirus, and how preventing future pandemics will require new restrictions on some of our most ancient and sacred traditions.

I never claimed sporting events & parties are risk-free. But, as explained in the article, religious rituals have many risks besides merely putting people into close proximity with each other, such as unhygienic practices and a false sense of security that God protects them.

"Unhygienic practices" Have you ever been to a sporting event?! Social gatherings of any stripe are a risk; outside a pandemic is acceptable as we are not giving up on social gatherings permanently. But, to only ask religions to do so exclusively, is prejudiced.

"To only attack my article when you could be attacking all the other articles in the world, is prejudiced." That's how you sound right now.
