If you're self-isolating you'll probably be ordering more pizza than usual, so you may want to know: One 18-inch pizza is more pizza than two 12-inch pizzas.

Actual question. Any concerns from the food prep workers contaminating the pizza or more likely the box?

You're far more likely to be infected during a trip to obtain food from a takeaway or grocery store than by a pizza delivered to your home.

Figured. I’m immunosuppressed so a bit more cautious.

If you need to be extra careful, can open box then wash your hands, then carefully remove pizza.

pls correct me if I’m wrong—I heard that if a food worker was infected and got the virus on your food, it would be safe to eat it as the food goes into your stomach acid and kills the virus, and the bigger issue would be touching or being near the worker themselves. BS or no?

There is currently no evidence that CoV can be spread through food, but it's still worth taking precautions.
