The NYT tried its best to make its endorsement into a spectacle, with a barrage of ads, trailers, and tweets. But its endorsement has been totally eclipsed by the casual endorsement of a single straight-talking podcaster. As sure a sign of Big Media's declining influence as any.

He does do that, which is why I love him. But he constantly repeats the same talking points, and doesn't address how so many of these differing ideas conflict. He was saying Jordan Peterson is a progressive, for goodness sake, which is ridiculous.

Peterson has mixed politics, having many conservative/traditionalist views, skeptical of socialism etc., but by U.S standards he is certainly on the liberal left side of things. This was evidenced in the Zizek debate where JP acknowledged the importance of the welfare state.
