One of our most popular stories this year. "The overall result of cancel culture is the cannibalisation of the left and the strengthening of the right."https://rabbitholemag.com/the-leftist-case-against-cancel-culture/?fbclid=IwAR2w4wpzd78NfrrIEZO7CokCRHiqdGJF9ooUAr2shl7MBLaaTByCDtARXao …

Is Gore coming out? Hadn't heard that. Still disagree--it's only a matter of degree. And I don't consider Frank Sinatra--I mean, Woody Allen's son--a journalist. And I consider even Epstein's and Weinstein's cancellations to be wrong--because they lack due-process.

Yes, agree. I'm not saying it was right. But it's understandable with Epstein & Weinstein as they were crimes committed over years so had a long trail of witnesses, receipts, etc, to such an extent that NYT or New Yorker didn't fear libel lawsuits from such powerful men.

Though I'm all too aware that most folks place Epstein and Weinstein in another category, I can't--and don't. If due-process means anything at all, it is for the Epstein's and the Weinstein's. To say there's so much smoke there must be fire is a mob argument, not a legal one IMO.
