Well also that agreement is often in the form of a like or retweet, as there might not be much more to say. Whereas when disagreeing you're saying something, which registers as a more significant interaction.

Another reason is that no honest, rational person *completely* supports their own ideology/tribe. Because of that, defending it is much harder work.
