No, Iona: it's well-enough written in a casually amusing and flippant way, but I'm afraid its value as insightful analysis is limited to a few, brief flashes, which then get lost in the murk of misinformation and cliche. There will be many better and more useful out there.

You omitted the important caveats. Which are too many and compromising to the underlying story to detail. Which is why most other writers long-since stopped referring to the incident... it repeatedly fails the common sense test.
