NRx can be very involved - for example, Unqualified Reservations is very verbose and boring - however, so much so that nobody has read it.
-
Yes, there's a lot of peripheral theory behind it, just as there is with identity politics. But, as with identity politics, the theory is largely obscurantism that serves only to give the illusion of depth to what is essentially an "us vs them" conspiracy theory.

Awful take. Neoreaction is the most insanely overcomplicated ideology. SJWs' identity politics is also very complicated ideological minefield. They're far more complex than old ideologies which could be summarized in one sentence.
-
You're right that neoreaction is overcomplicated, as that means it is made far more complicated than is necessary, which it is. The reams of navel-gazing with which it is embellished are consigned to dusty academia, and do not occupy any space within the heads of most adherents.

Reactionaries have long attention spans because the average NRx blogpost is a thousand pages long.
-
That may be a sign that the writer has a short attention span...

Right, the debris of disintegrating late-stage paradigms on both sides.

The act of focusing on a key topic for discussion instead of trying to participate in everything becomes ever more important. I'm reminded to Steve Jobs and the act of saying, "no" to products.

Well said. Now how can we make this a qualification before running for a political office.
