You really, really don't get it, do you? You curbstomp a fascist into the ground, that confirms their worldview. Unless you kill them, they get back up You milkshake them, you hit at their self esteem and that is a lot more effective

That's a big claim. I would need to see evidence that throwing milkshakes has any preventative power against fascism.

You recall Nigel Farage hiding scared on a bus for a couple of weeks? With headlines like "surrounded by a horde of milkshakes" Same with Robinson Theres your evidence But also, it doesn't need to be effective. Just more effective than throwing a punch

I don't think it has harmed Farage and Robinson's campaigns, but rather just gotten them more publicity and vindication (and these two are not actually fascists anyway).

I would like evidence for your claims that they aren’t fascists, because they clearly are by any accepted standard of fascism Then again you didn’t think quillette was despite phrenology and atomwaffen kill lists And okie dokie, here you gohttps://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2019/may/27/humiliated-tommy-robinson-sneaks-out-of-election-count-early …

I hope you don't believe that the poor number of votes he received was due to him having milkshake thrown over him, because that would be ridiculous. And I've written for Quillette; does that make me a fascist?

I believe there's a very important phrase a group with 2 regular people, and a fascist, and they don't reject the fascist, that's a group of 3 fascists But yikes. You worked for a website that is trying to resurrect phrenology of all things, and you're okay spreading that around

No Quillette writer I know of has published anything about phrenology, which is pseudocience. I assume you're referring to craniometry, which is a scientifically legitimate area of exploration and discussion, even if you personally might find certain opinions about it offensive.

Jake Retweeted Dianna "Prosecute the Police" Anderson 🏳️🌈
https://twitter.com/diannaeanderson/status/1139298621776490497?s=19 … Crainometry is literally just a measurement. It's nothing more or less than that. Quillette is using it to determine other factors, hence it's phrenology. Slightly modernized. But effectively the same
Jake added,
Dianna "Prosecute the Police" Anderson 🏳️🌈Verified account @diannaeandersonHi Andy! Read both. The Quillette piece cites narrowly scoped anthropological findings and applies them to arguments outside of the scope of the original, arguing, for example, that cranial differences indicate we must therefore accept psychological differences as racialized. 1/? https://twitter.com/MrAndyNgo/status/1139279894515310592 …Show this thread1 reply 0 retweets 4 likes
The thread you quote-tweeted to support your assertion does not actually refute the article it attacks, but instead misrepresents it and maligns the authors, which are not the kinds of argument I have time for.

It refutes the science Ngo is using to justify crainometry as anything more than phrenology Hence reducing it to simply phrenology
