I don’t think he sees it as a natural response, but he can see that more vulnerable people are resorting to it When isolated and denigrated by other tribal people. Am I being too charitable? Maybe. Bret deserves it, imo. We know his personal views in this area

This reads to me as though you are getting hung up on the term "white nationalism." What Bret appears to be describing (as far as I can see) is something I have worried about for a while. If white people are made an enemy out of for being white, how long until they decide 1/2

natural does not equal morally good. natural = probable and even expected. when you don't consider people's "natural" responses however morally reprehensible, you get blindsided
