The Flynn effect declined and then began to reverse decades ago. It mentions this in the article.

I meant to add I've not been able to read the article yet (device issues), was referring to the thread. I've long been sceptical about Flynn though much more unhappy with predictable hand-wringing about declining standards of next generation. It's been so since Socrates.
