If the future is tech-driven, shouldn't our kids adapt to that world, rather than the less tech-driven world their parents inherited?

In order to be effective, the highly specific tech-skills require a foundation of broader abilities (measured by IQ), which are the ones diminishing. This is the crux of the problem, I think.
