'Misinterpret' implies that there is an ideal or perfectly correct interpretation. I doubt this is true for any single word, let alone book or reality.

There’s gotta be a certain size of data that is optimal for (effectively) correct interpretation on a broad scale—somewhere between a tweet and the universe.
