Agreed. I am actually perusing his timeline now instead of working. I've found quite a few of his musings to be very thought provoking. Sometimes it's just how beautifully he express the idea, like in this instance.

I'm not sure that it's politics especially that refracts truth rather than just consciousness itself, fragmented into billions of illusory identities, embodied and driven by the survival imperative subject to resource constraints.

Great analogy. This is why I like Zizek's idea of the parallax view, where the truth/Real is better approximated by the shift from one perspective to another.
