We don’t if we overestimate the validity of such experiments, then it’s actually counter productive. The danger here is that we draw conclusions which are not at all appropriate to draw. Tweets such as your initial one risk escalating this problem.
I’m sure you are smart enough to understand the limits of such experiments, but assume at least 95% of the people is not. They just see the conclusions you draw from this experiment and extrapolate
