I have this strategy of imagining that anyone I debate on Twitter is a mental patient, and I am their therapist. It helps keep me reasonable. And, given the kinds of people I often debate on here, it's not a hard illusion to maintain.
"I don't need to look through your feed to see you actually spend your days on twitter." This is an admission that you make unjustified assumptions about people. I think this, along with your needless nastiness, are liabilities in your character that you might want to examine.
