You can tell a lie even with 100% truths. The key is, what are they NOT saying? Lies of omission are far more common than people think, in fact I would say they are ubiquitous. Especially when you include unintentional "lying" which is still a source of bias.

The methodology takes into account selection bias when determining political stance (though not when assessing factuality, because unfortunately you can't fact-check something that is not said).

The data sample was very broad. I'd be interested to see the same metrics applied only to major outlets.
