I was absolutely dragged by my parents today for doing this. It was assumed I was Rightist and every insistence on nuance was interpreted as attack/failure to choose/playing games. Is being a devil’s advocate really so immoral and annoying ?

Seeing only through the left eye or the right eye leaves half the world unseen. Of course, you may see thru neither, if you're obsessed with being seen (as left or right) rather than with seeing.
