Being anonymous on Twitter is regarded as a sign of untrustworthiness, but I’ve found that anonymity generally frees people to speak frankly, and it is actually the verified accounts that, by virtue of having a reputation to upkeep, possess the greatest incentive to deceive.

Fair point... Employers should allow their employees to speak freely though, without fearing for their jobs. They see employees as an extension of their "brand" instead of an individual. But that's the world we live in unfortunately.

Tbh i wouldn’t want my employees talking about politics online or anything that will go against customer beliefs. It’s idealistic but employees represent the comp. therefore their speech needs to be limited in favor of the enterprise. Mobs are looking for companies to go after.
