Organizing a ring is qualitatively a different & far more complex set of tasks. Given that, and giveb that there are those who have abnormalities inclining them to pedophilia, but do not act on their impulses, then over-reductionism does not work here.

My time for pointless back and forths is limited, so let's get to the basic fact I'm trying to make: "evil", indeed all interpersonal behaviour, is caused by the brain's structure (predominantly but not exclusively the frontal lobe). You either accept that or you believe in magic

Neurology was part of my profession, and training. So too was logic.

So I'll give you enough credit to assume that you agree with me that human behaviour is neurological in origin.

Don't put words in my mouth, and I don't need credit. You declared the conversation over, in effect. I merely added a note to it.

And I will add: I might give you some credit if you recognise that Twitter is a two-way street. You also could learn what you are attempting, to reduce morality to neurology, has often been attempted in the past by mediocre theorists and scientists. But it's not my problem.

I think you need to consider your motivations for arguing with me. You essentially disagreed with me that the brain causes behaviour - forcing yourself into an absurd position - simply because you were too macho to concede any epistemic territory. Humble yourself a little.

Take your own advice. By the way, you mischaracterize my argument completely, and I have no time for such crap.

No, it's bullshit. I gave you full consideration of your argument, and replied to you on your terms, civilly. You try saying a direct lie, "You essentially disagreed with me that the brain causes behaviour". This isn't even close. And I despise strawmanning.

I said that I was going to assume you agreed with me that the brain causes behaviour. You responded with "don't put words into my mouth". I concluded from this that you don't agree that the brain causes behaviour.

Do you wish to resume the actual discussion we had before you chopped it off, declaring you had no time for discussion? If you do, drop your comments completely about me personally, and drop all and any strawmanning. If you don't, what is the point of you havering like this?

I don't wish to resume this discussion, because I've had enough of these types of conversation on Twitter to know that they lead nowhere except toward mutual hostility. I'm sure we both have better use of a Saturday morning. Good day.
