Kavanaugh's speech didn't confirm or refute his guilt, but it did confirm that he is egotistical (used his high status as a defence), histrionic (relied on loaded language & conspiracy theory), and hot-headed (trembled with rage throughout) - all terrible qualities for a judge.

It’s a fact relative to its goal, which is achieving confirmation without doing irreparable damage to their party. The comment is in regard to the strategy of the approach. I’m asserting it was the best execution of limited options, and will achieve its goals. We shall see
