Kavanaugh's speech didn't confirm or refute his guilt, but it did confirm that he is egotistical (used his high status as a defence), histrionic (relied on loaded language & conspiracy theory), and hot-headed (trembled with rage throughout) - all terrible qualities for a judge.

If you want to be maximally uncharitable. But if you acknowledge that the second is just an observation about the game being played, and its impact on outcomes rather than a desire to express some moral sentiment, then no, not so much.

You didn't make "just" an observation. You expressed an opinion, calling the hearing "as strong a showing as possible". The strength of the hearing is not an objective fact, as evidenced by the fact that a huge number of people were not convinced by it.

Precisely. The entire nation is stuck in a political Nash Equilibria. Given that scenario, it’s meaningless to act as if these highly constrained political actors are doing anything other than embodying the game theoretic inertia of their constraints.
