Except that many men are FAR more likely to assume a woman needs them to explain something. Even when it's something they would almost certainly know because it's their job or area of expertise Even when it's NOT obvious, it's ENTIRELY possible to just ASK rather than assuming

"All humans explain things to each other" negates the lived experiences of countless women who are talked down to simply because of their gender. When you are condescended to, it has nothing to do with assumptions based on gender. It probably has more to do with tweets like this
